Hi there. Welcome to my first blog post on my new website/blog. This is where I will externalize all my urban / city musings, sparks, and arm chair philosophies to share with the world.

First stop, street art murals. Maybe soon we will be able to put the days of “modern” aesthetic – minimalistic, non decorated geometric environment (preferably in white or greyscale) – behind us.

Street mural

Illustrator / muralist Mona Caron from San Francisco shows us what a more lively and enjoyable public in the city can be, using the functional utility infrastructure as the canvas. Function and fun are not mutually exclusive!
